Privacy
How your information is handled.
SageGuide holds personal, often private reflections. Here's exactly what we collect, why, and who — if anyone — sees it.
What we collect
An email address and, if you choose to set one, a display name. The dilemmas, reflections, and journal entries you write. Basic usage information — your streak, which theme and language you use, and whether you've enabled daily notifications. If you subscribe, your subscription status (not your card details — see below).
How we use it
To generate the philosophical guidance you ask for, keep your Journal, remember your preferences, and — if you turn it on — send you a daily notification. Nothing you write is used to train any AI model, ours or anyone else's.
Who we share it with
Your dilemma text is sent to Anthropic (the maker of Claude) to generate a response, under their standard API terms, which do not use it for model training. Your account and data are stored with Supabase. If you subscribe on the web, payment is handled by Stripe; on iOS or Android, by Apple or Google via RevenueCat — we never see or store your card details ourselves. The app is hosted on Vercel. We don't use advertising networks or third-party analytics trackers.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists. You can delete it yourself at any time from the Account tab, which removes your account and everything tied to it immediately.
Your rights
Your dilemmas and reflections are visible only to you. You can change your display name, language, and theme at any time from your Account page — and delete your account, along with all of its data, from that same page whenever you want.
Children
SageGuide isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
